Abreham Abebe was born and raised in Addis Abeba. He graduated from Fine Arts of Addis Abeba University. He is 43 years old full-time studio artist and he lives in a town called Dukem with his wife and two kids.
Abreham captures the familiar streets of Addis Ababa with vibrant strokes and soulful energy. He brings lively jazz scenes to life in his work-Full of rhythm, movement, and local color. His love for nature is equally as evident, especially in his delicate portrayals of flowers. Abreham is also drawn to painting the ever-evolving street scenes of Addis Ababa. His artworks often reflect the dynamic nature of the city—its rapid growth, shifting architecture, and the constant flow of people and activity. Through his keen observation and artistic interpretation, he captures not just the present-day energy of the streets, but also a visual record of the city’s transformation over time, preserving fragments of its living history on canvas.
