Dimitros was born in Addis Ababa. He was given his name from his father’s best Greek friend, Mr Dimitros. He graduated from Fine Arts of Addis Ababa University. He has been painting for the last 28 years. Dimitros is a full time studio Artis, has five children, and continues to live in Addis Ababa.
